Access stored documents through an intuitive, web-based application that allows you to search, retrieve, and download documents as they were originally sent or received. This includes electronic invoices, declarations, and other crucial business documents.

The Descartes eArchiving service incorporates robust security measures, including strong authentication, authorization, data integrity checks, audit trails, and disaster recovery. Role-based access control and user management tools provide maximum security and oversight.

Flexible Retention Periods

Store messages and documents for periods up to 10 years, with options to extend storage based on unique business requirements. This flexibility ensures that you can comply with regulatory requirements and business needs for document retention. All documents stored in eArchiving will expire once the agreed-upon retention period concludes. This timeframe can range from one to ten years, depending on your company’s requirements.

Business Key (BizKey) Indexing

To store and retrieve documents effectively, each document requires a valid business key (BizKey) for indexing. A single BizKey is included in standard pricing, with options available to index multiple BizKeys if needed.

Document Storage Options

Descartes eArchiving securely stores a variety of documents, from commercial invoices and customs messages to digital signatures and status messages, ensuring long-term preservation of vital information exchanges.

Flexible Access with Advanced Search Capabilities

Log in to the application here to access your stored documents. Use search criteria like Sender, Business Key, and Key Value (with wildcard options) to refine results, and retrieve documents by customer reference with optional indexing services.

Document Viewing and Download

Double-click any record in your search results to open it. Download entire archives or view specific documents directly. Each archived record can include the original document, a readable PDF, or the translated version sent to trading partners.
