The UK customs and regulatory compliance team spent 3 full days meeting and greeting both new and old customers and exchanging ideas with some familiar faces within the industry at this year’s Multimodal Trade Show in Birmingham NEC.
It is fair to say that the overall feeling from exhibitors and visitors alike, that this was one of the busiest and most productive shows that has taken place for several years. The full Descartes-team is already looking forward to next year's show.
But for now, a small reminder of the show. During the event a ‘Ask the Experts’ interview took place with Lars Persson, Vice President, Global Sales and James Stafford Sales Manager for the UK Customs & Regulatory Compliance team, discussing new trends after Brexit, and exploring the move towards cost savings and efficiency, extending services and attracting new customers.
